A good day: the first real numbers arrived. One of the region's biggest brewing-ingredient suppliers came back with a full catalogue — base malts, specialty grains, and most of the hops NABLA ∇1 needs. The pricing is genuinely strong.
The catch is packaging. The hops come in large bulk sacks, and a single ~1,000 L batch only uses a fraction of each variety — so I would be paying for (and storing) a lot of leftover hops. On paper that quietly inflates the cost per can.
So the next move is obvious: find hop suppliers who sell in small pack sizes, and mix them with bulk where bulk is genuinely cheaper. Sourcing is turning out to be a puzzle, not a purchase.
