Where I could not get a direct quote, I read indicative prices from the shops own pages. Not final figures, but enough to change the picture — because several sell hops in 100 g packs. Buying the exact amount each variety needs, with nothing wasted, pulls the cost per can down sharply.
The cost model is starting to look like a real business instead of a hopeful spreadsheet.
